When I started working for myself in 1988, I came up with a very simple business model based on me making sure I did these 3 things:
1. Do creative work to the best of my ability.
2. Work with enjoyable people.
3. Be fairly compensated for my time

    Phenix Knives initially came to me to create a look for their Texas Select Custom Cutlery Event. They had an idea with the illustration of a hammer and a flaming anvil…but needed typography for the logo and graphics for the rest of their marketing needs.

    The Toubin Park project in downtown Brenham was chocked full of historical information from the beginning to the end. Lots of moving parts were maniuplated with a graphical heirarchial system to keep viewers on track as to importance as well as keep them interested.
